**Job Purpose**

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining reports using SQL queries and BIRT tool. As a developer he/she is required to understand technical details around the report, assess the feasibility, design, develop and deploy the reports. The role also requires a limited maintenance activities also.

**Key accountabilities**
- Develop and maintain BIRT report.
- Develop SQL queries to run an extract of bulk data. Optimize the queries
- Schedule and maintain reports on report server tool.
- For any new reports, assess the requirements and propose the optimal way of setting up the report
- Maintain data in Orchestra by doing bulk export / import of data (training will be provided).
- Trouble shoot all existing reports for issues and resolve in given SLA.
- Perform unit testing and regression testing for all development activities
- Build and maintain dashboards in Qliksense and data model in Incorta.

**Knowledge, Experience & Skills Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology or a related field.
- Good experience BIRT tool development **(MUST)**.
- Good experience in Postgres SQL, Stored procedures **(MUST)**.
- Knowledge in report development and SQL development
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to interpret business needs into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of IT systems, databases, and software development lifecycles.
- Familiarity with PPM tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to understand functional requirement and translate it to technical between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Certification in Oracle, Postgres (preferred).
- Qliksense development, Report server, Incorta data modeling (preferred).

Although the developer will work during local SG/MY hours, the working hours can be flexible. Able to work with stakeholders in different time zones.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
