JR51882 Director, Malaysia EHS
- Develop, improve and implement EHS policies and process and coordinate execution for Micron Malaysia (3 facilities).
- Ensure compliance to RBA and liaise with Regulatory agencies requirements
- Ensure conformance to IS014001 & OHSAS18001 management system
- Handle EHS related operational processes and activities
- Lead EHS training activities in order to promote EHS processes and policies and enhance employees’ EHS sense.
- Responsible for EHS system implementation & improvement.
- Ensure compliance with existing laws, regulations, licenses, permits and ordinances pertaining to environmental performance and health and safety concerns.
- Maintain current knowledge of specific requirements imposed by Government agencies through reading of the statues, regulations, licenses, and permits.
- Consult with other members of local and corporate Environmental Compliance groups, legal counsels under guidance, operating units and field personnel.
- Handle Construction Safety & report periodically on the project EHS metrics. Lead COVID 19 risk at Plant
- Initiate Environmental Sustainability Project in conjunction with Facility Department
- Develop and accountable for EHS budget and plan to align with EHS requirements.

**Job Requirements**
- More than 15 years of working experience in safety and health preferably manufacturing /semiconductor background.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Applied Science and possess Diploma/Professional certificate (OSHA/DOSH)
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety Management System e.g. OHSAS is an advantage
- Registered OSH Officer under Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH)
- Certified Radiation Protection Officer from Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB) is an added advantage
