HR and Admin Manager

We are partnering with a renowned F&B group expanding its operations in Penang. With an exciting new F&B concept launching soon, we are looking for a passionate and experienced HR & Admin Manager to drive people strategy and build strong operational support for the growing team.
Job Responsibilities
Human Resources:
- Lead end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee engagement.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and procedures aligned with company values and local labor laws.
- Manage payroll, compensation & benefits, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
- Oversee industrial relations matters including disciplinary actions, counseling, and grievance handling.
- Organize and deliver internal training programs or coordinate with third-party training providers.
- Support manpower planning and workforce development aligned with business growth.
Administration:
- Manage general office and operational administrative matters, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Oversee maintenance of staff records, licenses, and compliance-related documentation.
- Ensure HR and administrative systems and files are up-to-date and securely maintained.
- Support the restaurant opening process from the administrative and staffing perspective.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., HRDC, HRMS, SHRM-CP, CHRP) is required.
- Minimum 5 years of HR and admin experience, with at least 1-2 years in the F&B, retail, or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive and people-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HRMS systems.
- Able to work independently, multitask, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
