**Responsibilities**
- Collect, calculate, data entry and process payroll monthly for approximately 160 employees
- Process all new hire paperwork, termination paperwork, and payroll changes
- Prepare manual payroll checks and voids when necessary
- Calculate bonuses and allowances
- Prepare employees’ compensation by the end of each month using payroll software
- Schedule bank payments or hand out paychecks directly to employees
- Distribute payment statements and gather signed receipts (digital or paper)
- Report on payroll expenses
- Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations
- Enter new employees’ data (e.g. bank accounts and tax identification numbers) into internal databases
- Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and other deductions
- Validate payroll accuracy for all company
- Special case handling during payroll cycle
- Reconcile payroll disputes
- Act as a liaise with the Payroll / Human Resources staff to ensure precise and accurate payments based on Local / Federal law and practices
- Manage the whole payroll administration

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven 3 years work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and accounting software
- Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
- Good knowledge of labour & statutory legislation
- Time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- BSc in Accounting, Human Resources or relevant field

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
