**Job Scope Overview**:
The Sea Freight Coordinator plays a crucial support role in the daily import and export operations of sea freight. This position ensures that shipping processes run smoothly by handling documentation, coordinating with internal and external parties, and supporting compliance with customs and port requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Document Management**:

- Prepare and manage shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, packing lists, invoices, and delivery orders.
- Assist in customs clearance processes by preparing the required documentation.
- Ensure all documents are properly filed, updated, and organized for easy retrieval.

**Shipment Coordination**:

- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, and customers for cargo movements.
- Monitor and update shipment status, ensuring smooth pick-up and delivery of containers.
- Arrange bookings with carriers and follow up on schedules.

**Customer and Vendor Communication**:

- Communicate with customers to provide shipment updates and resolve basic queries.
- Liaise with port authorities, customs agents, and transport partners to ensure timely operations.

**Vehicle and Driver Support (as applicable)**:

- Coordinate with transport teams for container deliveries and returns.
- Ensure drivers are briefed on delivery instructions and equipped with necessary documents.

**Equipment and Operation Support**:

- Help monitor and manage logistics equipment (e.g., container seals, trolleys, tracking devices).
- Support loading/unloading planning and space coordination in warehouses or yards.

**Customs and Compliance Support**:

- Ensure shipments follow customs regulations and international trade procedures.
- Assist in EDI declarations and basic customs-related data entry.

**Administrative Support**:

- Perform data entry and maintain shipment logs in the company system.
- Help prepare simple reports or summaries for internal use.

**Ad-hoc Tasks**:

- Support other team members in operational duties when needed.
- Assist with internal logistics or event setup if required.

**Requirements**:

- SPM / Diploma in logistics / O Level / SKM Level 1, 2, or 3 / Degree in Logistics or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of customs documentation and EDI declaration is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with sea freight procedures is preferred.

Pay: RM1,200.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
