Business Development Manager

As a BD, the key role is to drive new businesses so as to create value and increase our company’s revenue and profitability for our relevant stakeholders.
- **Achieve and exceed revenue targets on a quarterly basis in a rapidly changing and highly competitive marketplace.**:
- Develop sound marketing plans and strategies for Mobility Rail & Roads solutions.
- **Drive revenue generation and deliver significant value to clients through identifying opportunities within client’s organization and gaining as in-depth understanding of client needs.**:
- Lead negotiations, coordinates complex decision-making process, and overcome objections to capture new business opportunities.
- **Effectively build and optimize long term, sustainable and profitable relationship with clients.**:
- Identify opportunities, present and sell the Company products and service which are key for customer’s success.
- **Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and product (in relation to the Company products).**:
- Submits accurate and timely forecast that are aligned with assigned sales quotas. Forecast sales revenue on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- **Generate opportunities for meetings with key decision makers to drive sales process.**:
- Drive bid strategy and assist to prepare the necessary bid documentation.
- **Coordinate and assist during the bid preparation process.**:
- Able to work with the Authorities, Public Transport Operators and not limited to OEMs/sub suppliers.
**Requirement and Qualification**:
- Degree with 5 to 7 years professional sales experience in high tech or Mobility (railway & roads) related industry with successful software/hardware or licensing sales.
- Experienced in selling into Large Enterprise Customers and able to analyse sales performance metrics.
- Able to demonstrate experience in selling enterprise software/product/services/solutions is a strong advantage, with strong negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting sales/business objective and quotas.
- Able to build relationships and quickly develop trust with C-level executives and have solid personal presence to act as an effective influencer and negotiator at the most senior levels of client management.
- Highly self-motivated and result driven.
- Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Solid problem solving and consultative skills required.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
