**Job Summary**:
The Safety & Health Officer is responsible for enforcing the implementation of safety and health practices at the project site in compliance with regulatory requirements and Gamuda’s QSHE Management System. This role ensures a proactive safety culture through enforcement, promotion, training, auditing, consultation, and incident investigation.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Safety and Health Enforcement**
- Enforce safety practices according to statutory regulations and Gamuda’s QSHE Management System.

2. **Safety Promotion**
- Promote safety awareness and safe work practices at project sites.
- Conduct formal safety training sessions and support site teams with safety-related training.

3. **Incident Investigation**
- Investigate major incidents and submit independent reports to the Head of Project.
- Ensure follow-up actions are implemented to prevent recurrence of incidents.

4. **Safety Consultation**
- Advise Project Managers on safety-related improvements and propose corrective actions.
- Recommend specialised training or safety courses based on project needs and risk exposure.

5. **Safety Improvement & Reporting**
- Collect and analyse safety data to identify trends and propose improvement actions.
- Support documentation and reporting requirements under the Gamuda QSHE Management System.
- Monitor and report safety and health performance indicators for the project.

6. **General Compliance**
- Ensure full compliance with all Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) standards and procedures.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

- Rasa Water Treatment Plant

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum **Diploma in a related field**:

- **Registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book Holder)** with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Malaysia
- **Minimum 5 years’ experience** in safety and health management at construction sites
- **Preferred experience in civil engineering and infrastructure projects** (e.g., roads, bridges, tunnels, water treatment plants)
- Strong knowledge of **Malaysian OSH Act, FMA 1967**, and **ISO 45001**:

- Good communication, leadership, and report writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and incident reporting systems

Pay: From RM6,500.00 per month
