About the role

This is a full-time one year contract role as a Safety and Health Officer (SHO) cum Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) at Triple Smart Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in Bandar Sunway, Selangor. As the SHO and SSS, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive health and safety practices on construction sites to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures for construction projects
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Provide training and guidance to site personnel on safety best practices
  • Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to occupational health and safety regulations
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and clients on health and safety compliance matters
  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to health and safety

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety and Health Officer or Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industry
  • Registered Safety & Health Officer (Valid Green Book Holder) with DOSH
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to identify and mitigate safety risks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve safety objectives
