**THE JOB**:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards.
- Perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team.
- Provide financial information and reports to senior management as required.
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases and help check spreadsheets for accuracy
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management for decision-making purposes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting principles.
- Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations.
- Provide support in the preparation of the tax compliance activities, ensuring adherence to local tax regulations.
- Facilitate and manage the annual external audit process.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary changes.
- Address audit inquiries and implement recommendations for process improvements.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external teams regarding financial and accounting matters.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years related experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial procedures and regulations
- Strong work ethics with the ability to manage confidential data
- Professional qualifications preferred (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA or MICPA).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated integrity, ethics, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling financial information.
