To lead and manage packaged product development projects. Packaged products including Air-sides products - To lead product development team. - To manage product development projects to meet the target specifications, schedule, quality and material cost. - To execute New Product Introduction (NPI) process. - To work with NPI team members from Production, Engineering, QC, Material Control and Marketing in ensuring a smooth flow of pilot production and trial production. - To compile and supply technical information on each product range to Marketing Department. - To create and maintain the Material Master and BOM. - Responsible to introduce new products and systems composed of multiple air conditioning units linked by a dedicated communications network, employing highly complex technologies such as mechatronics using inverter motors and electronic expansion valves coupled with fluidics and heat transfer engineering - Liaise with the laboratories and factories in China (Headquarter) in order for local engineers to understand TICA’s technologies and specifications required for development of new models unique to the SEA market and eventually transfer them to local engineers. - Lead/participate in design reviews and technical coordination meetings. - Development activities include, but are not limited to: numerical simulations, concept/innovation, design, technical specifications, data tables/curves, patenting, data acquisition and analysis, component selection, compliant for necessary testing and procedures (standards, performance, agency, etc.)
