Main Purpose:
The Maintenance Planner is primarily accountable for developing and executing maintenance plans that address immediate equipment, facility and system maintenance needs and ensuring mínimal downtime and quick resolution to maintenance issues to keep our operations running reliably and at optimal performance.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and relevant stakeholders to prioritize short-term maintenance tasks based on urgency, criticality, and potential impact on operations.
- Develop detailed and time-sensitive maintenance schedules for addressing urgent maintenance requirements and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Work closely with maintenance personnel to allocate necessary resources, such as skilled labor, spare parts, and equipment, to facilitate efficient execution of short-term maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and unforeseen breakdowns to initiate quick resolution and minimize downtime.
- Assist in planning and scheduling preventive maintenance tasks to mitigate the risk of unexpected failures and prolong the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of short-term maintenance activities, including work orders, task completion times, and materials used. Maintain job package attachments in line with requirements for preventative maintenance tasks.
- Keep relevant stakeholders informed about maintenance progress, potential delays, and any necessary adjustments to the maintenance plan.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Trade certificate or technical training is required.
- Certification in maintenance planning is preferred

Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Prior experience in maintenance planning, coordination
- Strong understanding of maintenance practices and equipment reliability
- Ability to think on your feet and quickly devise solutions to address urgent maintenance needs.
- Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to handle unexpected situations and adapt plans as per changing maintenance requirements.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and precise execution of maintenance plans.
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and relevant software for maintenance planning and reporting.
- Strong English language
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
