**Company Overview**

Our client is a fast-growing FinTech start-up established in 2021, transforming how individuals and businesses access capital through an innovative peer-to-peer (P2P) financing platform. As part of their expansion, they are seeking a **Mandarin-speaking Finance & Accounting Executive** with relevant experience in **banking, fintech, or P2P lending** to support the financial health and operational integrity of the company.

**Who We’re Looking For**

**Key Responsibilities1. Financial Recordkeeping & Reporting**
- Maintain and update accurate financial records, including GL entries, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and management reports
- Ensure financial reporting compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist in audit processes and the preparation of audit-ready documentation

**2. Budgeting & Forecasting**
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Analyze actual performance vs. budget, identify variances, and propose corrective actions
- Support in building financial models and data-driven forecasts for business planning

**3. Financial Analysis**
- Perform in-depth analysis on costs, revenue trends, and margins
- Provide insights to support strategic decisions and financial efficiency
- Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess the impact of various business strategies

**4. Compliance & Risk Management**
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory requirements, and internal finance policies
- Assist with preparation and filing of tax documentation
- Support internal control implementation and risk mitigation efforts
- Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and external consultants as needed

**5. Cash & Treasury Management**
- Monitor cash flow, daily balances, and forecast funding needs
- Coordinate banking transactions, reconciliations, and treasury activities
- Support working capital management by ensuring timely AP/AR cycles
- Maintain good relationships with financial institutions

**6. Financial Systems & Process Improvement**
- Ensure accurate and efficient use of accounting systems and tools
- Assist in streamlining financial processes and implementing automation
- Contribute to policy documentation and financial SOP improvements
- Work cross-functionally to enhance reporting accuracy and operational transparency

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- **Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written)** is **required**:

- Prior experience in **banking, fintech, or P2P lending** preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficient in financial systems, accounting software, and Excel
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams

**Remuneration & Benefits**
- **Basic Salary**: RM4,500 - RM6,500 (commensurate with experience)
