**About the Role**

Your roles as a Chief Investment Officer includes:
We are looking for a well-organized and analytical chief investment officer (CIO) to manage our company's investment portfolio. The CIO will provide insight and direction, lead investment teams, complete all fund transactions, and effectively maintain portfolio developments.

To excel in this position, you will possess a sound understanding of all investment policies and guidelines, demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and maintain a strong professional work ethic.
- Provide oversight and due diligence for existing investment portfolios
- Provide corporate investment policy guidance to the company
- Advise the board of directors and management on all corporate investment issues
- Propose investment recommendations to senior management
- Prepare appropriate investment paperwork

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish effective and well-organized investment processes.
- Write clear and well-informed investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
- Organize regular investment reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies.
- Attend annual meetings, review quarterly financial statements, and remain up-to-date with any important valuation or policy changes.
- Lead the investment strategy unit within the company.
- Perform regular administration duties of all investment files.
- Help manage and uphold current client relationships.
- Develop, implement, and maintain portfolio strategies and processes; monitor performance, including cost, risk, cash flow, and liquidity; and collaborate with other departments, including risk, compliance, and operations
- Develop and execute investment plans and strategies based on trends in financial markets, macroeconomic conditions, and company strategy, and collaborate with other executives in the development of short
- and long-term capital allocation plans
- Perform ongoing performance benchmarking to assess investment performance
- Develop and maintain reporting systems, analyze the results, and present the findings in detailed reports
- Develop and monitor annual operating budgets, including preparing, submitting, and monitoring quarterly forecast adjustments
- Monitor cash requirements and liquidity, including preparation of variance analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Develop and maintain efficient relationship with investment departments and ensure compliance to all policies and laws.
- Provide an interface with Investment Committee and recommend new and changes to existing investment policies and submit it for approval.
- Hire and train all employees in investment activities, evaluate performance and resolve all issues in same.

**Requirements**:

- A degree in finance or a relevant field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5-7 years related experience OR a senior analyst will be advantage.
- Strong experience leading, supervising, and motivating a team of investment professionals.
- Strategic thinker and proficient in decision-making.
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
