Shift Lead

**1.0 PURPOSE**

To manage all physical movements and conditions in all local Ranpak Malaysia warehouse (raw paper,

consumables and finished paper and parts) and inbound from suppliers and outbound to clients**1.0** **PURPOSE**

The technical maintenance in daytime as well as in shifts of all facilities at Ranpak Malaysia, to guarantee optimal use.

**2.0 REPORTING**

The Shift Leader reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

**3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES**

Realize (preventive and curative) maintenance and repairs in a responsible manner.

Proposals of improvement and modification of technical installations.

**4.0 MAIN TASKS**
- (Preventive) maintenance production equipment.
- (Preventive) maintenance of other equipment and other resources and general services.
- Dissolving of electrical and/or mechanical failures.
- Performing repairs and alterations to means of production and general services.
- Identify (potential) problems or deficiencies (Trouble Shooter).
- Relevant communication with users, department managers and superiors.
- The required repairs/maintenance Facility.
- Providing relevant records such as; time sheets, control lists, outlook system, check and sign off of work orders.
- Making orders to have the correct and enough parts in stock and ensure costs remain within budget.
- Taking care of housekeeping and safety at the workplace & office.
- Coached junior team members in delivering results.
- To carry out other duties or tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.

**5.0 PROFILE**
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics or equivalent
- Knowledge in Programmable Logic Control (PLC), SCADA or AutoCAD
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Industry 4.0.
- Team player but also capable to work solitaire
- Pro active
- Service oriented
- Thinking problem solving
- Languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia

**2.0 REPORTING**

The Executive reports to the Supply Chain HOD

**3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Correct quantitative and qualitative physical materials flow to and from manufacturing, suppliers,
- customers and other warehouses.
- Manage accurate inventory (no cycle count surprises)
- Manage effective and safe use of all warehouses and expedition for core business.

**4.0 MAIN TASKS**
- Clean and safe warehouses, expedition receiving and parts warehouse.
- Responsible for overall warehouse operation and administration tasks
- Receiving and storage of raw paper, consumables, return machines and return paper.
- Receiving of finished paper and machines from manufacturing.
- Picking and loading of finished paper and machines (including additional parts).
- Shipping documents and, if applicable transport.
- Optimal use of own and rented warehouses.
- Plan incoming and out-going orders.
- Transportation between the warehouses.
- Regular cycle counts for raw paper, consumables and finished paper.
- Obsolete stock.
- Leader and act coaching to the staff.
- The optimal use of human resources in the warehouses.
- Loading and unloading of trucks within 1.5 hours.
- Bottlenecks and report in time.
- In absence replacement of logistics manager for the core business.
- Create and manage a safe environment.
- To carry out duties or task assigned by superior form time to time

**5.0 PROFILE**
- Mid-level in logistics/supply chain.
- Work both independently as in a team.
- Pro-active.
- Result driven.
- Innovative.
- Advanced knowledge of MS-office and ERP Systems.
- Good communication skills at all levels.
- Proficient in English and Malay. Chinese is a plus.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
