**Position: Associate Product Specialist - Surgical or Refraction or IT**

Our client is a Japanese MNC specializing in providing advanced medical devices and imaging solutions, particularly in the fields of ophthalmology and optometry. They are currently looking for an **Associate Product Specialist - Surgical or Refraction or IT **to assist in providing professional consultation in pre-sales phase, installation and demo of Ophthalmic products, and continuously develop product knowledge and skill.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Day to day operation**:_
- To maintain a complete log of queries from customers/distributors on product features and other relevant information, and to build a reusable database for future query handling.
- To be responsible for fulfilling tender requirements upon sales / distributor’s request.
- To plan and execute roadshow of product demo not only to local but also to oversea customers in coordination with sales and channel management department
- To attend local/regional conferences for product demo and inquiry handling together with the sales department.
- To develop pre-shipping kitting and inspection manuals for each product that can be replicated by anybody.
- To develop user training manuals for each product that can be replicated by anybody.
- **New product launch**:_
- Responsible for new product launch from every aspect including provision of product training, benchmark of competitive products and price, proposal of selling price for each market and build a budget for the product.
- **Build robust and sustainable team**:_
- To develop and keep updating detailed SOPs and make sure adherence to them
- To make sure your job is fully backed up by your supervisor
- **Skill Development**:_
- To keep developing product knowledge and skill with continuous training and self-study, and strictly adhere with the development plan created by the supervisor.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree (With majors in Optometry OR IT preferred)
- Fresh graduate or equivalent with no prior job experience are acceptable
- Some familiarity with eye anatomy OR very familiar with IT
- Good in presentation and PowerPoint skills
- Positive and Cooperative attitude
- Driven and Go Getter mentality
- Great and patient communicator

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
