JOB FUNCTION
- To assist in supervising of staff and operations of the laboratory
- Responsible for the documentation and implementation of quality assurance & quality control procedures to maintain Lab Accreditation under ISO17025.
- To ensure that tests procedures follow the Good Laboratory Practices guideline.
- To train and orientate new laboratory staff.
- Responsible for the maintenance of all lab equipment and instruments.
- To facilitate in trouble shooting sessions in the laboratory pertaining to lab equipment, procedures and instrumentation.
- To ensure that good quality standards are maintained for all tests.
- Maintains laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Maintains Turn Around Time (TAT), productivity by monitoring workload of functional areas; identifying peak and slack periods; making operational or staffing adjustment.
- Maintains quality results by participating in the Quality assurance program such as PT Test and etc
- Maintains laboratory information system by identifying information needs and problems; recommending improvements; establishing priorities; testing; writing user manuals; training employees; maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Implements new programs, tests, methods, instrumentation, and procedures by investigating alternatives; preparing proposals; developing and performing method validation
- Maintains laboratory staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Attending Auditor and closing none conformity findings (NCR)
- Oversees laboratory safety and ensures that the laboratory remains in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. Communicates and enforces laboratory safety rules
- Scheduling Disposal and manage the housekeeping
- Extension scope of accreditation each year
- Able to answer technical question from customer
- To maintain, calibration, and validation of instruments and equipment, investigation and resolution, deviation response and resolution of quality issues.
- Able to hands on equipment and doing routine testing.
- Work as approved signatory for checking and signing report for Chemical and Microbiologist department
- Work as a team player.

**Requirements**:

- Required skill(s): MS Office. MS Windows and others.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- Working experience more than 5 years and with ISO 17025 working experience in the related field.
- A team player who is independent, self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Preference given to those who are able to start work immediately.

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
