**About the role**

The **Manager, Strategic Planning & Product Innovation** will play a pivotal role within the R&D team, focusing on developing future-forward solutions that push boundaries and address meaningful challenges in the real estate industry. Reporting directly to Head of Industrialized Business Ventures (IBV) this role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of company innovation projects. The incumbent will contribute to the design, facilitation, and brainstorming sessions to deliver innovation to PPVC modules and in constant pursuit to achieve cost efficiency to all key processes.

**Responsibilities**:
**a) Planning & R&D (Product & Process Innovation)**
- Coordinate cross-functional planning between design, factory, logistics, and site teams.
- Utilize digital tools (e.g., BIM, ERP, project planning software) to simulate and monitor workflows.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure planning alignment.
- Lead R&D exercises to focused on improving PPVC design, materials, and assembly methods.
- Collaborate with design, QA/QC, and manufacturing teams to prototype and implement improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation for research trials, findings, and subsequent filing and approvals for Intellectual Property (IP) and Patent rights.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory developments in modular construction to support innovation initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive decision analysis and business economics review to support company strategy.
- Perform in-depth research, data gathering, analysis, and evaluations to prepare strategic proposals and recommendations.

**b) Stakeholder Management**
- Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure project success.
- Establish relevant partnerships to support innovation initiatives.
- Engage with industry experts, academic institutions, and external consultants to incorporate best practices and new ideas.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in R&D, business development, strategic planning, or related roles within the real estate or construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform comprehensive data analyses and business case evaluations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and data analysis tools.
- Proficient in BIM is an added advantage.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM8,000.00 per month
