The Business Risk Strategy Assitant Manager's key responsibility is to ensure that risks are adequately identified, assessed, monitored and controlled in conjunction with the Business and other control functions. This role reports to the Head, Business Security.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Developing, implementing and maintaining short-term and long-term risk strategies across a broad range of Capital A/AirAsia’s business activities
- Working with various business, technology, and security/risk stakeholders to identify risks, conduct quantitative analysis, and develop strategies to protect CapitalA/AirAsia and its users
- Leveraging large data sets and analytical tools to develop evidence-based, automated risk strategies, while working closely with Data Science and Fraud Operations teams on the execution of these strategies
- Establishing metrics to monitor and communicate results for various risk strategies
- The ability to manage multi-projects, deliver actual results while coordinating with different stakeholders such as engineers, product and business owners.
- Strong understanding of payment process and technical experience in identifying fraud and abuse in large sets of data
- To maintain a high level of fraud detection by achieving the department’s KPI.
- Attend to enquiries pertaining to suspicious activities from internal departments concerning different payment methods
- Liaise with the core department and teams to identify gaps, set recovery time objectives and convey business needs/expectations.
- To be able to prepare a data-driven analysis based on fraud detection.
- Responsible for participating in meetings, workshops and briefings concerning different payment methods with all relevant stakeholders / departments.
- To maintain close coordination with respective department liaisons to obtain data updates and information concerning payment and accounts.
- To participate in UAT for tools used in automation to prevent fraud and proactive ways of detecting possible new suspicious behaviour.
- Independently resolves problems that require in depth investigation and/or research
- Constantly communicates fraud trends and shares best practices with peers and leaders
- Priorities work to meet and exceed deadlines
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Displays confidence in making decisions independently
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, information security, or finance.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
