Overviews of Job

Responsible to lead a team of staff to provide building management services to the expectations of owners/tenants as well as the committee.

Duties of Building Manager

  • To supervise and monitor existing team of site staff to provide good customer service to meet customers' expectations with regards to complaints and implementation of building management system.
  • Well verse with Strata Management Act.
  • Liaison with service contractors on appointment and renewal of service contract
  • To ensure that the physical built environment is in good state of repairs.
  • To ensure that the building services of the complex are in good working conditions.
  • To liase with the Local Authority and utility companies to ensure all services and issues affecting the residents are resolved expeditiously.
  • To ensure that the common fund is well-managed and institute appropriate actions against defaulters.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must posses at least a Degree / Diploma in Estate Management, Building Surveying or equivalent with minimum of 5 years working experience.
  • Required skill(s): good leadership, planning and organizational.
  • Ability to handle complaints or enquiries from owners or residents in a professional manner.
  • Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to carry out building operational matters, audit preventive maintenance and provide recommendations.
  • Familiar with Strata Titles Act.
  • Fluent in spoken and written command of English and Bahasa Melayu.

Location : Petaling Jaya

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6, RM12,000.00 per month
