JOB PURPOSE

Key person overall in charge of all job tasks at the filling platform which involved production, quality assurance, bottles availability, buffer stock, manpower requirement and any other operational safety at the filling platform relating to workers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Responsible to ensure compliance of job tasks at the filling platform are in accordance with the relevant Safety Standards and Procedures.
  2. Organize dirty / rusty bottles for repainting, sorting of more than 10 years bottles for RQ works and monitor all competitor bottles stock position kept at the plant.
  3. To monitor and ensure sufficient buffer stock subject to availability of workable empties for filling by setting a requirement on the minimum numbers at any given time.
  4. To liaise and co-ordinate with the 3rd party contractor at the filling platform to ensure optimum efficiency in plant production, output and performance. Minimize downtime at the platform and prevent operation stoppage from occurring.
  5. To ensure all workers & employees working at the filling platform conform to TBSB's Safety Standard & Practices.
  6. To ensure sufficient manpower and other resources are effectively assigned to all job locations to achieve a smooth filling operation.
  7. To ensure all job tasks carried out at the respective work areas in compliance with all the relevant SOPs and Instructions given.
  8. Constantly review and make recommendations to improve / enhance existing operations to meet production efficiency based on best practice / feedback.
  9. Continuous monitoring of inventory stock and pumpable stock quantity to prevent potential stock out and creating healthy stock position at the Terminal. Liaise with both JV supply teams.
  10. Establish and maintain operational rapport and teamwork with other oil companies (Petronas, Petron, etc.).
  11. To manage their assets and inventory, as well as, coordinating with their contractor while filling at TBSB.
  • Basic Technical & IT Literacy - Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Leadership – Able to lead & manage a group of subordinates as a team leader.
  • Teamwork – Works effectively as a team player, is flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and work schedules. Has a good working relationship with his colleagues (from Sales and CSU team)
  • Initiatives – Willingness to acquire new skills and learn to enhance performance. Highly motivated person in getting task completed on time.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering disciplines

Experience and Knowledge

At least 3 years of working experience in Operation / plant / terminaling with SHE knowledge
