Key Accountabilities:

(To be performed in- alignment with global and regional guidelines)

PLANNING – 80%

  • Develop & present
    Campaign VM Planning Deck
    for all channels (DTC & Wholesale) within the assigned budget.
  • Plan & develop
    In-Line VM In-Store Communication
    (ISC) materials for DTC
  • Develop monthly
    VM Directive
    for DTC
  • Collaborate with the Consumer Experience Team
    to ensure cohesive execution across all channels touchpoints.
  • Collaborate / share advice with Brand Retail Activation Team
    for any Retail Activation.
  • Seasonal SS/FW Sell-In Showroom Planning.
  • Follow up with Wholesale Key Account Manager for campaign execution requisition within the Wholesale Accounts & organize to ensure having a full clarity prior developing VM planning deck.
  • Submit production order and provide clear creative direction & assets to appointed vendor.
  • Coordinate installation schedule & work permit application between appointed supplier & Execution Team.
  • Obtain and submit quotations for VM Manager approval prior to production, and follow up on invoice retrieval within 5 working days after delivery.

EXECUTION – 20%

  • Conduct
    store visits
    with Consumer Experience, Wholesale KAMs, and VM Execution Teams to understand retail touchpoints and improve planning accuracy.
  • Ensure all VM plans are executed as per schedule, keeping relevant stakeholders informed.
  • Organize and lead VM briefing sessions with execution teams to ensure full understanding of plans and guidelines.
  • Verify that all fabrication and visual assets meet quality standards.
  • Consolidate photo submissions from wholesale teams, provide feedback, and follow up on outstanding executions.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in VM or product merchandising related field, preferable experience in the sport or clothing industry.
  • A passion for sports/fashion and an understanding of sports along with the desire to translate this passion into building the adidas sports market in Malaysia
  • PC literature, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages
  • Basic foundation with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint or any Adobe software would be beneficial.
