Job description

We are partnering with a well-established multinational retail brand to hire an Account Receivable Analyst. This role supports the Retail Accounting team with month-end activities and plays a key part in ensuring compliance with Malaysia's E-Invoicing regulations.

This is a contract role with an immediate start preferred, ideal for candidates who are eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What makes this opportunity unique — it offers a highly flexible hybrid arrangement, where you'll be working remotely most of the time (around 80%) and only required to attend the office once or twice a month for essential meetings or reporting duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a full range of Accounting and Controlling activities, with strong focus on Retail Accounting (Account Receivable)
  • Execute monthly closing tasks accurately and on schedule.
  • Prepare and review Balance Sheet schedules and account reconciliations via Blackline.
  • Coordinate and support the annual statutory audit process with external auditors.
  • Contribute to process enhancement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Ensure strict adherence to SOX compliance and internal company policies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of working experience in Accounting, Finance, or Tax, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Preferably 1-2 years in Account Receivable would be desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multitask and work effectively in a team setting
