Job Title:

Business Development Executive (Mall Leasing)

Salary Range:

Basic + Comm + RM500 Car Allowance

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, source, and evaluate potential mall locations or leasing opportunities that align with the company's business strategy.
  • Liaise and negotiate with mall management on space leasing, rental terms, and promotional activities.
  • Assist in planning and executing new outlet setups, booth installations, and relocations.
  • Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis to support leasing and expansion strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with mall management, landlords, and strategic business partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to coordinate mall events, roadshows, and product launches.
  • Prepare leasing proposals, quotation requests, and related documentation for management approval.
  • Track contract renewals, rental payments, and leasing records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support management in developing business strategies to improve brand presence and maximize profitability.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mall leasing, retail business development, or commercial expansion.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Good understanding of retail leasing procedures and shopping mall operations.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willing to travel for site visits and meetings when required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in mall or retail leasing operations.
  • Established network of retail brands and tenants.
  • Excellent presentation and report-writing skills.
