Responsibilities:

  • Inbound Logistics:Manage local and international shipments in compliance with Customs and LMW regulations. Liaise with Customs officers and forwarders to ensure smooth clearance and cost-effective freight handling. Handle importation of materials, machinery, and tools.
  • Cost & Reporting:Monitor inbound freight expenses, prepare monthly reports for Finance, and manage freight cost budgets.
  • Inventory & Systems:Ensure accurate inventory control and reconciliation between SAP/ERP and LMW records. Support shipping schedules, labeling, and packaging compliance.
  • Compliance & Performance:Submit monthly/yearly LMW reports, support internal/external audits, and monitor logistics KPIs to improve efficiency and cost control.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, preferably in an LMW manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of LMW regulations, Customs procedures, and import/export documentation (e.g., ZB2, ZB4, CJ5, CJ5A).

  • Familiarity with inbound and outbound logistics, including freight cost management and warehouse operations.
  • Experience in liaising with Customs officers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.

  • Systems & Tools:

  • Proficient in SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of inventory control and reconciliation processes.

  • Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.

  • Compliance & Reporting:

  • Experience in preparing LMW reports and supporting audits.

  • Familiar with logistics KPIs and continuous improvement practices.
