Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

  • Assist doctors and nurses during patient consultations and minor procedures.
  • Measure and record basic vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, weight, and height.
  • Prepare patients and consultation rooms before and after consultations.
  • Assist with basic procedures including wound dressing and nebulization under supervision.
  • Ensure proper infection control practices are followed.

Administrative Duties

  • Register patients and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Handle patient enquiries, phone calls, and walk-in patients.
  • Manage billing, payment collection, and insurance or panel documentation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems.
  • Operate clinic management systems and perform basic computer tasks.

Clinic Operations

  • Ensure consultation rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Manage clinic supplies, medications, and inventory.
  • Assist with medication packing and laboratory specimen handling when required.
  • Dispose of clinical and biohazard waste according to MOH guidelines.

Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia regulations and clinic Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
  • Follow workplace safety and infection control standards at all times.

RequirementsQualifications

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent.
  • Certificate in Clinic Assistant or Healthcare is an advantage.

Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in a GP clinic or healthcare setting is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Polite, responsible, and patient-focused attitude.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Clinic-based environment.
  • May require shift work, weekends, or public holidays depending on clinic operating hours.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 per month
