Job Title: Events Sales Executive

Job Summary:

The Events Sales Team is responsible for driving event bookings and revenue through proactive sales efforts, client relationship management, and seamless coordination with the operations team. The role involves identifying business opportunities, responding to inquiries, preparing proposals, and ensuring each client receives an exceptional experience from initial contact to event completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Actively source and pursue new leads through networking, referrals, walk-ins, and digital platforms.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event organizers, and agencies.

  • Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and contracts based on client requirements and company guidelines.

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.

  • Conduct venue show rounds, presentations, and client meetings to promote event spaces and services.

Client Servicing

  • Manage inquiries efficiently and maintain timely follow-up to convert leads into confirmed bookings.

  • Understand client needs and propose suitable event solutions, including layout, catering, and vendor recommendations.

  • Coordinate with the operations, catering, and events team to ensure smooth event execution.

  • Maintain professional communication and handle client concerns promptly and effectively.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of all inquiries, leads, bookings, and client communications using CRM or internal systems.

  • Prepare weekly sales reports and pipeline updates for management review.

  • Ensure all documentation proposals, invoices, and contracts are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in events, venue sales, or hospitality

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal.

  • Confident in client presentations and negotiations.

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM tools.

  • Positive, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings for events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Business Development

  • Prepare professional, customized proposals, quotations, and presentations that align with brand standards.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for high-value and returning clients.

  • Understand client objectives and curate event solutions tailored to their needs.

  • Coordinate with the operations, catering, and events team to ensure smooth event delivery.

  • Anticipate client needs, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain long-term relationships that lead to repeat business.

Team Support & Mentorship

  • Guide and support junior sales team members, sharing best practices and sales techniques.

  • Assist the Sales Manager in developing strategies, packages, and promotional initiatives.

  • Contribute ideas to improve client experience, internal processes, and sales performance.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and updated records of leads, bookings, and communications.

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline summaries for management review.

  • Ensure contracts, billing, and documentation are completed accurately and promptly.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Events, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event or venue sales, with a proven sales track record.
