Job Scope:

1. New Product Industrialization

  • Lead DFM discussions with the design team and cross-functional departments to assess manufacturability, cost, and production readiness.
  • Break down 2D/3D assembly designs into detailed component drawings and structured BOMs for production use.
  • Define end-to-end process flow—from raw material handling to machining, welding, surface finishing, and final assembly.
  • Prepare and release process documentation, technical guidelines, and production standards.
  • Supervise prototype builds, offering on-site technical coaching to ensure samples follow approved processes.
  • Review prototype results, identify gaps, and drive refinement to ensure compliance with design and customer expectations.
2. Manufacturing Engineering
  • Develop clear Manufacturing Instructions outlining process parameters, machine settings, tooling, and inspection requirements.
  • Review and finalize Work Instructions for operators to ensure safe, accurate, and consistent execution on the shop floor.
3. Process Improvement & Technical Support
  • Study existing workflows to pinpoint efficiency losses, quality risks, and operational constraints, leading structured improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot production issues by coordinating root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive measures.
  • Participate in MRB evaluations to determine disposition of non-conforming parts and review associated quality risks.

Job Requirement:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials/Metal Forming, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years leading engineering teams or managing technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, CNC machining, and process design.
  • Knowledge of QMS standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, or IATF16949 is beneficial.
