Job DescriptionAbout the role
It's a high-impact, two-year contract opportunity for an exceptional leader to drive a major regional transformation. You will take ownership of the strategic consolidation of SEEK Asia's complex, multi-country payroll operations. This is a critical initiative that moves beyond simple system implementation; you will spearhead the fundamental shift to a single, unified vendor platform, fundamentally redefining how SEEK Asia manages its human capital processes across multiple territories. As the dedicated project leader, you will manage the end-to-end implementation across diverse Asian markets, navigating complex local regulations and technical integration challenges. Your success will be defined by ensuring a seamless transition, guaranteeing that unwavering payroll accuracy and strict compliance are maintained throughout the entire two-year program. This role offers the unique chance to leave a lasting legacy by delivering a unified, scalable, and highly efficient operational foundation for a leading regional technology company.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Drive projects from initial planning through seamless implementation and ongoing post-go-live support
- Develop comprehensive project roadmaps, realistic timelines, and proactive risk mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams spanning multiple countries and time zones with precision and cultural awareness
- Consistently deliver projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget parameters
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with HR Operations, Finance, IT, and local market teams across the Asia region
- Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements to maximize value and performance
- Facilitate seamless dialogue between regional teams and global stakeholders
- Champion change management initiatives that drive smooth adoption and sustainable transformation
Process & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with local payroll regulations across all operating countries
- Coordinate complex data migration and system integration activities with technical precision
- Establish robust governance structures and quality assurance processes for operational excellence
- Track project progress meticulously and deliver insightful reporting to senior leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years project management experience, preferably in HR/Payroll systems
- Proven track record managing multi-country implementations
- Understanding of integration setup from Workday to payroll vendor platforms
- Preferred experience with payroll operations in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong
- Experience with payroll vendor management and system integrations
- Strong understanding of Asian market payroll compliance requirements
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
