Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, persuasive, and result-driven Sales Fighters for position as Tour Consultant Executive to join our dynamic travel agency team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind converting inquiries into confirmed bookings. You must be confident in handling customer inquiries, overcoming objections, and closing deals — primarily via WhatsApp, phone calls, and online leads.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Promote and sell inbound travel packages (e.g., Kota Kinabalu – Kundasang, Semporna for local destinations) and outbound packages (international destinations).
- Engage with prospective customers via WhatsApp, calls, and online inquiries to identify their travel needs and match them with the most suitable packages.
- Confidently explain package details, itineraries, promotions, and travel arrangements to ensure customers are fully informed and excited about their bookings.
- Recognize buying signals, use persuasive language, and close sales effectively.
Closing & Target Achievement
- Apply proven sales strategies and closing techniques to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Handle customer objections with tact, empathy, and convincing solutions.
- Follow up with warm leads and pending customers to secure bookings.
Customer Support
- Provide end-to-end sales assistance — from preparing quotations to booking confirmations.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and follow-ups in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth handover of confirmed bookings.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Tourism Management, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
- At least 1–2 years' proven sales experience in the travel & tourism industry is highly preferred.
- Must have knowledge of inbound & outbound travel packages, including destinations, itineraries, pricing, and seasonal trends.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills — able to persuade and build trust quickly.
- Skilled in identifying customer needs, handling objections, and closing sales confidently.
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Fresh graduates or candidates without relevant sales experience will not be considered.
