Our client "JV GLOBAL EVENT SDN. BHD." is seeking an Event Planner to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Project Management: Plan and execute project campaigns, overseeing pre-event, on-ground, and post-event phases to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage project activation logistics, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all event elements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to align execution with client objectives and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project progress and performance, both during and after activation, to ensure client KPIs are met.
  • Adaptability: Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and efficiency in a dynamic work environment.
Who are they looking for?
  • Event Experience: At least 1 year of experience in event planning, project coordination, or a similar role, preferably in a promoter agency or event environment.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong ability to multi-task and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Communication Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Resilience: Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes with a positive attitude.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to support event planning and reporting.
  • Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style to foster a positive team environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working with FMCG, tech, or lifestyle brands in event activation is advantageous but not required.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with diverse clients and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, with weekdays off, to accommodate event schedules.
