About the role:
Candidates must be currently residing within the Penang or Perak state.
As the Operation Manager (North Region), you will be responsible for supporting the Head Office in the management of daily business operations and the execution of strategic plans. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership to define the organization's vision, mission, and objectives, and to translate them into effective operational strategies.
What you'll be doing
- Assist Headquarter to handle day-to-day Company affairs as well as executing task and business plan to the group.
- Collaborate with Headquarter to define the organization vision, mission and goals. To formulate strategic objective, initiatives and action plans to achieve them.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, department head as well external partners to gather input, build consensus and align strategies with organization goals.
- To handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections.
- In charge of full spectrum of sales, customer service, operations and P&L control with clear mandate of generating business growth in local market.
- Develop new avenues of business with existing and new business partners.
- Identify new markets and develop new strategies that capitalize on the growth opportunities.
- Drive productivity in order to maximize resource utilization. Plan, lead, manage and monitor resources on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensures that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
- Researching the country or region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly.
- Anticipate the Headquarters needs and proactively provide support to enhance productivity and efficiency.
What we're looking for
- Candidate must at least possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, or equivalents.
- Minimum 5 years working in sales and/or marketing.
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin would be a plus.
- A good knowledge base of the country/region.
- Independent, result oriented, dynamic and self motivated.
- Possess openness to ideas, able to demonstrate an ability to initiate change and influence to others.
- Be a self-stater, possessing a passion for excellence and a proven ability to initiate change and continuously seek improvement.
- Candidates must be currently residing within the Penang/ Perak state.
