GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

●       Manage entire project phases and cycles.

●       Ensure all Engineering Change Notices are closed on time

●       Ensure all bom and routing are accurate and updated

●       Ensure all std drawings are updated in the system

●       Ensure standard product continuous improvement projects and cost-saving projects are carried out

promptly

●       Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to document the information as per

quality standard

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

●       Person in charge of overall new product Launch projects

●       Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; and conferring with management.

●       Draw new products, redesign the existing product to suit the regional requirement, and come out with

technical manufacturing drawings using Solidworks (2D&3D)

●       Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; and assigning personnel to

phases and elements.

●       Create and monitor project schedules by studying project plans and specifications; calculating time

requirements; and sequencing project elements.

●       Create and monitor project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; and resolving

problems.

●       Ensure Engineering Change Note (ECN) is in Progress and its close on time.

●       Ensure all std bom and routing are accurate and precise in Baan

●       Collaborate and maintain frequent communication with Toronto and Quebec counterparts on technical

matters.

●       Collaborate and maintain frequent communication with Toronto/Quebec counterpart on product technical

●       Ensure product continues improvement projects and cost-saving exercise is carried out and hit the target set

by the management.

●       Collaborate with Product Data management, Manufacturing, Material Management, Specials, and other

relevant parties to complete a project promptly

●       Support and manage all standard technical inquiries.

●       Maintain frequent communication with other department team members.

●       Manage workload and feedback early to Management if the dateline is not achievabl

ABILITY

●       Detail-minded, responsible, self-motivated, energetic, and willing to work under pressure and deadlines.

●       Able to self-manage, prioritize, and take ownership of projects.

●       Keen mind in researching and exploring new ideas from various sources.

●       Strong focus on clear and effective communication in all tasks

●       Requires a high energy level, the ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands, and the

flexibility to manage demands outside traditional business hours.

●       Ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines

●       Possesses initiative, can work independently with minimum supervision, and is result-oriented.

●       Must be able to lead a team in a project.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE

●       Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience preferably in the furniture industry, industrial design, or

Mechanical industry.

●       Possess a Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Design, manufacturing, or any other related field.

●       Must be proficient in both communication and writing in English

●       Must be proficient in Solidworks (2D&3D)

●       Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
