Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Engineer/Manager (Solar Energy) to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in solar project implementation, strong technical knowledge, and excellent project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the full project lifecycle for solar energy installations, from design through to commissioning and handover.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure project requirements are met.

Prepare project schedules, budgets, progress reports, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.

Conduct technical evaluations, site inspections, and ensure compliance with industry standards, statutory requirements, and safety regulations.

Lead and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and site staff to achieve project objectives.

Troubleshoot technical and operational issues during installation and commissioning.

Ensure quality assurance and adherence to best practices in solar PV system implementation.

Support tender preparation, proposal development, and technical submissions when required.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.

Minimum 3–8 years' relevant working experience in solar PV / renewable energy projects (for Engineer or Manager role).

Strong knowledge of solar PV design, installation, and maintenance standards.

Proven track record in project management, with ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

Familiarity with local regulations, authority approvals, and industry standards in Malaysia.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.
