Product Executive / Purchaser (Accessories)Supplier Management

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production, and distribution capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.

Purchasing Process

  • Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review and analyze requisition requirements, ensuring they align with budget and project needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms for the company.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained without overstocking.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and inventory control staff to manage stock levels and delivery schedules.
  • Identify and implement inventory optimization strategies.

Cost Control

  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness of the procurement process.
  • Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, value analysis, and process improvement.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on purchasing activities and results.

Market Research

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new products.
  • Evaluate market conditions and trends to anticipate future supply needs.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments such as finance, operations, and project management to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior procurement staff as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM5,500.00 per month
