About the role

Manjoy Gadget Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak. As Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials. What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to optimise operations
  • Coordinate and supervise the warehouse team, providing leadership, training, and performance management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and data, implementing systems and processes to ensure stock control and traceability
  • Analyse warehouse metrics and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing changes to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security regulations within the warehouse
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar senior warehousing role
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, including inventory control, logistics, and distribution
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and technology
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements within the warehousing industry
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
