GS1 Malaysia Berhad is a subsidiary of Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing that offers an essential Barcode Certification service to ensure barcodes are scannable and readable that comply with GS1 Standards, which is crucial for product identification and trade. In line with our business expansion, we are looking for a Senior Executive who will be responsible to:

  • Manage the development and implementation of brand and communication strategies, events and initiatives to strengthen value proposition awareness and support company objectives.
  • Design, develop and execute comprehensive business and marketing collaterals, including social media visuals, brochures, content creation, presentations, capacity-building materials and other promotional content.
  • Manage web technologies, digital platforms and related budgets for projects such as traceability systems, while also coordinating press releases and online communications.
  • Analyse and prepare reports on website and social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of customer service strategy and information system infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, alignment and readiness of communication materials across all initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulators, industry experts, solution providers and strategic partners, to drive adoption of GS1 Standards, services and platforms.
  • Stay updated with digital marketing trends, tools, and innovations to enhance customer engagement and experience.
  • Support membership-related activities and perform other ad hoc duties as required.
  • Share responsibilities with team members to ensure smooth operations and task completion.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors' Degree in Marketing / Mass Communication / Corporate Communication / Digital Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 3 - 4 years of experience in marketing, communication, or business development and any related fields to support membership growth, retention, operation, service and support.
  • Proficient in languages to communicate with multilingual customers and customer-oriented individuals.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite and Canva.
  • High levels of accountability and responsibility and able to work in a fast paced environment.
