We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Director to oversee our financial operations and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in accounting and finance, with a particular focus on the construction industry. This position demands expertise in Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounting, cost control, and project risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage WIP accounting and ensure the implementation of accurate cost control measures.
  • Develop and monitor financial strategies that facilitate the company's growth and operational efficiency.
  • Review and analyze project risks, providing insights and recommendations for enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead the finance team, offering mentorship and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial alignment with operational objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA, CA, or ACCA qualification is essential.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting practices specific to the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in WIP accounting and cost control methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the percentage of completion concept.
  • Experience in assessing project risks and implementing effective control measures.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
