Environmental Officer

Environmental Officer for project @ Balik Pulau, Pulau Pinang.

· Adhere to all associated requirements stipulated in the Environmental Quality Act and associated regulations.

· Implement and monitor the EMP on site and recommend any monitoring or to plan the mitigation amendments where necessary to the environmental consultant.

· Assist the Project Manager in undertaking the Project in an environmentally sustainable manner, in accordance with EMP and associated statutory requirements.

· Train and educate all personnel entering and working on the site to work in a manner as to respect the surrounding environment.

· Continually identify, reporting and record potential and presenting environmental issues are identified until rectified.

· Ensure all works rare inducted in Project environmental procedures and are aware of any changes to the EMP or associated procedures and are aware of any changes to the EMP or associated procedures, as necessary.

· To undertake any all-other duties as responsibilities so as instructed by the superior.

· To assist the Environmental Consultant in carrying out monthly environmental monitoring and auditing activities.

· To perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Managing Director.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
