Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Functional (job responsibilities)

  • Manage the team (35 staff) to achieve the target/budget on bad debt recovery and OPEX.
  • Ensure that available collection tools such as Debt Collection Agencies (DCA), site visits, skip tracing, and bureau searches are fully utilized for effective collections.
  • Drive the collection performance of assigned DCAs to meet the Bank's annual target.
  • Oversee and manage all areas of operations of DCA and DCA support.
  • To plan, communicate, execute and monitor effective strategies and targeted settlement plans.

Jobholder Requirement

  • Malaysian citizen

Education/Qualification

  • Degree holder with Business Management, Communications, Accounting related field.

Experience

  • 8 years and above experience in leading a Collections team in banking or non-banking related industry.

Special Skills

  • Working proficiency of English, proficiency in BM and other languages is a plus.
