Wireman (Palm Oil Mill)
Job Summary

Responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and equipment in the palm oil mill to ensure safe and continuous plant operation.

Main Responsibilities

· Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation work on motors, switchboards, lighting, and wiring systems

· Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime

· Inspect, test, and maintain motor control panels, starter circuits, and distribution boards

· Assist in installation of new electrical equipment and ensure proper connections

· Ensure all electrical works comply with safety and statutory requirements

· Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and report faults to the supervisor

Requirements / Competencies

· Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

· Knowledge of palm oil mill electrical systems, control panels, and motor circuits

· Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and wiring schematics

· Familiar with safety procedures and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) practices

· Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills

· Experience in palm oil mill or industrial electrical maintenance is an advantage
