Purpose:

Lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering payroll matters i.e. benefits, leaves, etc., monitoring training and development activities, and enforcing company policies and practices

Reporting

: Managing Director to the Company

Key Responsibilities:

● Manage and responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions including manpower planning, recruitment, training & development, compensation & benefits, payroll administration, performance management, and employee relations and communications.

● Ensure effective management and delivery of HR services to fulfill the needs of the operating company.

● Ensure proactive engagement with Management of the company, other departments, and provide value-adding advice and efficient delivery of HR services and support.

● Facilitate in employee engagement through constant and open communication with employees at all levels

● Liaise with the relevant government authorities on employment-related matters

● Ensure compliance with HR - related statutory and regulatory requirements

● Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with Group HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.

Job Requirements:

● Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent 

● At least 10 years of experience in HR field, including minimum 3 years in managerial position

● In-depth expertise in prevailing Labor Laws and Regulations, Industrial Law and Regulations, and other employment-related laws/regulations 

● Solid hands-on experience in good HR practices and systems

● Proficient in using Google Workspace 

● Excellent command of English & Bahasa Malaysia (both written & spoken)

● Excellent people management, communication, and leadership skills, with a strong ability to collaborate as a team player
