  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BQ) for FM contracts, maintenance works, and minor projects.
  • Manage cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting for FM operations and projects.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders, claims, and final accounts.
  • Review subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness and value for money.
  • Assist in contract administration, including compliance with contract terms, payment certifications, and claims management.
  • Conduct value engineering exercises to optimise cost efficiency without compromising service quality.
  • Monitor project cash flow and support timely invoicing and collections.
  • Support business development and tender teams in preparing costings, pricing strategies, and commercial submissions.
  • Assist in preparing tender documents, including pricing schedules, scope clarifications, and commercial assumptions.
  • Participate in tender briefings, site visits, and clarification meetings with clients.
  • Analyse market rates, benchmarking data, and competitor pricing to support winning bids.
  • Support contract renewals and re-pricing exercises for existing FM clients

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in quantity surveying, preferably within facilities management, maintenance, or M&E projects.
  • Experience in tender pricing, cost estimation, and variation management for FM contracts.
  • Knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. PAM, JKR, or service-based contracts) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and cost estimation tools; experience with FM or ERP systems is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
