Company Secretary

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and maintain statutory records and documents in compliance with the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and Securities Commission Malaysia guidelines.
- Draft, file, and lodge relevant corporate documents with SSM, Bursa Malaysia, and other regulatory bodies.
- Assist the Board of Directors in organizing Board meetings, AGMs, and EGMs, including preparing minutes, resolutions, and related materials.
- Ensure proper maintenance of company registers and secretarial records for all group entities.
- Advise the management and Board on corporate governance practices, compliance issues, and regulatory changes.
- Coordinate with external auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities when necessary.
- Handle corporate exercises such as rights issues, share buybacks, mergers, or restructuring in accordance with listing requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum ICSA qualification or Degree in Law, Business Administration, or Corporate Governance.
- At least 5 years of experience in company secretarial practice, preferably with public listed companies.
- Strong knowledge of Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia regulations, and corporate finance principles.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant secretarial software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6, RM7,000.00 per month
