Our client "Lowell Builders Sdn. Bhd." is seeking a Project Manager (Construction) to join their team

This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage client relationships, drive project progress, and lead teams to achieve outstanding results in time, cost, and quality.

What you'll be doing?
  • Project Leadership: Lead, plan, execute, and monitor construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Prepare Master Work Programmes, schedules, and Site Organization Charts to optimize project execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Take ownership of project progress, proactively resolving issues and coordinating with all stakeholders for smooth project delivery.
  • Client Relations: Manage client and consultant relationships, understanding requirements and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to achieve project goals.
  • Site Supervision: Lead, supervise, and motivate site teams to achieve high productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Progress Reporting: Chair site meetings, prepare reports, and keep management updated on project status and resource allocation.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee construction quality, materials, and workmanship to meet specifications and standards.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, claims, and variations in collaboration with management.
  • Change Management: Document and obtain approval for any project plan changes or variations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Implement safety, health, and environmental measures in line with statutory requirements.
  • ISO Compliance: Maintain and monitor ISO system requirements, including procedures and documentation.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field to provide a strong foundation for the role.
  • Industry Experience: At least 6 years of leadership experience in construction, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead teams, drive progress, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Communication Expertise: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, regulations, and local authority processes.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management and construction software such as AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • M&E Knowledge: Understanding of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works would be beneficial but is not required.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage for effective communication with various stakeholders.
