We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Manager to join JurisTech. Based in Malaysia and reporting directly to the C-suite, the Senior HR Manager will play a crucial role in both strategic and tactical HR leadership in a fast-paced software products industry. As we continue to expand our regional and global footprint and grow our market share, we require a visionary leader whose role is pivotal in scaling our business and ensuring our team is engaged, motivated, and equipped to achieve our goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Transform Human Resources and Administration (HRA) into a strategic function; ensuring that HRA is proactively supporting the business in achieving its growth aspirations.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that are aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.

Performance Management:

  • Design, implement, and oversee performance management systems with well-defined performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.

Rewards and Recognition:

  • Develop and implement reward and recognition programs to motivate and retain top talent.

Workforce / Resource Planning & Optimization:

  • Strategize and manage workforce planning to optimize resource hiring, allocation, and productivity.
  • Provide analytics and forecasting related to talent management, compensation planning and benefits administration.

Talent Acquisition & Development:

  • Design and execute sustainable talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent in a competitive software products market.
  • Lead initiatives for talent growth and succession planning to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.

Work Culture and Engagement:

  • Foster a positive, diverse, inclusive, and engaging work environment through effective communication, employee engagement initiatives, and conflict resolution.

Compliance and Policy Development:

  • Advise the C-suite on human resources related legal risks and overseeing HR policies to ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Develop HR policies that support the company's mission and values.

Administrative Leadership:

  • Oversee administrative functions to ensure efficient operations and support for all departments.

Team Management:

  • Leading and managing the HRA team, ensuring accountability for day-to-day tasks, and fostering a high-performance culture within the department.

Complex Environment:

  • Navigate a complex business environment with a deep understanding of the software products industry's nuances and challenges.
  • Address HR challenges proactively and develop innovative solutions to support the organization's growth.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

You are someone who:

  • Has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI, CIPD, or some form of professional certification) is preferred.
  • Has 8-12 years of progressive HR experience and a minimum of 3 years of managerial role, specializing in talent management.
  • Has working experience in the software development or tech industry is highly desirable.
  • Possess experience in HRBP and is able to demonstrate tangible returns from prior people strategies/ programmes/ initiatives aligned with the business goals.
  • Is highly adaptable and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Has strong understanding of HR best practices, policies, and legal regulations, both locally and internationally.
  • Has ability to lead and manage a diverse team, with strong strategic thinking, tactical and operational execution ability, and decision-making skills.
  • Has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Is proficient in HRIS and other relevant HR technologies and tools.
