, they are expanding their commercial team and are hiring a
Key Account Manager (Malaysia)
to accelerate market presence and revenue performance.

The opportunity

In this role, you will
manage and grow key customer relationships
across
modern retail and wholesale/distributor channels
. You'll own end-to-end account strategy, drive joint business plans, and work cross-functionally to deliver sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Own
    revenue, market share, and profitability
    for the Malaysia market
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with
    key retailers and distributors
  • Execute the
    Malaysia sales strategy
    in line with regional direction
  • Develop and deliver
    in-market programs
    with regional/global marketing teams
  • Lead
    pricing and commercial negotiations
    to achieve targets
  • Drive
    annual business planning
    and run regular performance reviews with partners
  • Lead commercial projects across channels, customers, and retail activations
  • Partner with supply planning / S&OP teams to support
    forecasting and order fulfilment
  • Monitor market and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks

Requirements

  • Minimum
    6 years'
    Key Account Management experience in
    FMCG/CPG
    (or relevant consumer/food categories)
  • Strong understanding of
    Malaysia's retail landscape
    and an existing customer network
  • Proven ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Track record of delivering against
    sales targets and growth KPIs
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfort using data to drive decisions
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Business-level English
    (written and spoken)
