Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare test cases, test scenarios, and testing strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Log, track, and verify the resolution of defects by collaborating closely with developers to identify root causes and validate fixes.
  • Perform different types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Develop and maintain all QA documentation, including test plans, test reports, and defect logs.
  • Provide timely and detailed feedback to project managers, developers, and stakeholders regarding testing progress and software quality.
  • Participate in project discussions to ensure quality considerations are incorporated into the development process.
  • Stay up to date with the latest QA tools, automation technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the testing process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

1. QA Fundamentals

  • Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and defect tracking.

2. Tools & Automation

  • Familiar with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).
  • Experience or knowledge in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools is an advantage.

3. Methodologies & Practices

  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of QA best practices, regression testing cycles, and release management processes.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify, investigate, and troubleshoot complex issues.

2. Documentation & Reporting

  • Strong proficiency in writing clear and detailed test documentation, bug reports, and test summaries.

  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset to ensure smooth QA and development alignment.

4. Learning & Adaptability

  • Eagerness to learn new QA tools and automation technologies.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and evolving testing requirements.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester in the IT industry.
  • Experience working in web, mobile, or enterprise application testing environments is preferred.
  • Mandarin speaker
