Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Security Engineer located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to safeguard Bursa Malaysia's IT infrastructure, applications, and sensitive information. Responsibilities include designing and enforcing security policies, performing vulnerability assessments, managing application and network security protocols, responding to potential threats, and ensuring compliance with information security standards. Collaborating with internal departments to address cybersecurity concerns will also be an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Application Security and Information Security Management
  • Proficiency in Cybersecurity, Network Security, and Information Security practices
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge of industry security standards, compliance requirements, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred
