About the role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Safety & Health Manager to join our team at Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for overseeing the hospital's environmental, safety, and health initiatives to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This is a crucial position that will have a direct impact on the overall well-being of our staff and patients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental, safety, security, and health policies and procedures
  2. Conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures to mitigate identified risks
  3. Managing the hospital's waste disposal and recycling programs to minimise environmental impact
  4. Providing training and guidance to staff on environmental, safety, and health best practices
  5. Collaborating with regulatory bodies and external agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
  6. Investigating and reporting on incidents, accidents, and near misses
  7. Continuously reviewing and improving the hospital's environmental, safety, and health performance

What we're looking for

  1. Degree or relevant qualification in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry
  3. Thorough knowledge of environmental, safety, and health regulations and best practices
  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff at all levels
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental and organisational goals
  7. Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology to support environmental, safety, and health management
