POSITION: ASSISTANT MANAGER, FINANCE & ADMIN

As an Assistant Manager, Finance & Admin at AWH Ventures Sdn Bhd, will be responsible for General Ledger, Budget and Financial Reporting of the Company.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • To oversee and supervising day to day accounting and financial operations specifically General Ledger Accounting such as accruals, prepayments, bank transactions, provisions, reclassifications.

  • Managing fixed asset transactions - capitalize new assets, transfer/dispose assets, run depreciations

  • Handling and managing treasury transactions including Daily Bank Balance and perform Bank Reconciliation on monthly basis.

  • Responsible for onboarding new vendors and customers into the system, including performing Know Your Customer (KYC) background checks procedures on initial customers

  • Handling related Company Reconciliation and ensure proper settlement between entities.

  • Preparation and submission timely SST return in accordance with Malaysian tax regulations. Ensure accurate classification of taxable and non-taxable services. Liaise with RMCD on SST related matters.

  • Ensure compliance with IRB's e-invoicing framework and guidelines. Monitor and reconcile submissions with accounting records. Stay updated on the latest e-invoicing regulations.

  • Preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements, financial forecast, annual budgets and other related reports and analysis required.

  • Statutory financial reporting compliance and liaise with external auditor and lead the audit process.

  • Review and liaising with tax agent for tax compliance, tax audit and tax filing.

  • To oversee all office and admin related matters and to work closely with HR department regarding staff related matters.

  • Other duties as and when assigned to you.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Professional accounting qualifications with 2-5 years post-qualifying experience, preferably with a professional accounting firm

  • Knowledge in logistics and marine operations will be an added advantage.

  • In-depth knowledge of compliance requirement of MFRS / IFRS / MPERS

  • Computer literate and able to work independently.

  • Knowledge in Auto count or other integrated logistics management system will be an added advantage.

  • Possess good communication skills, able to work with all levels of staff in the organization and a good team player.

  • Must be a member of accounting professional bodies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4, RM5,500.00 per month
